Now, see how posts are allocated in different scenarios for railway medical unfit candidates –
CASE 1: IF YOU GET VERY GOOD MARKS IN 1ST STAGE OF EXAMINATION-
- Then a candidate is eligible for multiple post as per their qualification for different medical standards.
- For Ex – In RRB JE examination, An ECE candidate is eligible for Signal[A3], telecom[A3], Store Suprivisor[C1], TRD[B1] etc. In Stage 1, which is qualifying in nature, a candidates gets good marks and cleared the cutoff of all the 4 post mentioned above.
- In STAGE 2, He/She again get a good marks and hence cleared the cut off all the post.
- IF He FAILS in MEDICAL and become unfit A3, B1 –
CASE 1-A: If his 1st priority is post which needs C1 medical fitness certificate.
Then He/She will be given the post store superivisor [C1 medical standard] .
CASE 1-B: If his 1st priority is not the post in which he/she is medically fit, as per our example he is fit in C1 medical standard.
Then, first rrb will check for 1st priority and its medical requirement. If candidate fails then they check whether he qualifies for any other post then they will compare the marks of candidates in stage 2 examination of candidates for post having C1 category standard, If the candidate is having more marks then the other candidates in the same post with same medical standard. Then he will be selected for the post else he will not be considered.
APPLICABLE FOR BOTH CASE: Even if they are selected for the post in which they are eligible. Still they will given a chance by RRB to appeal for the medical again. If they are not satisfied by RRB decision. This will be a last chance for them to be empanelled.
CASE 2: IF YOU GET AVERAGE MARKS IN 1ST STAGE OF EXAMINATION-
If you get average marks in qualifying marks then instead of being selected for multiple post, you are eligible for few post and candidate will appear in 2nd stage of examination for few post.
